Madison never falls asleep anywhere but her bed. One morning last week I came down for a break from school with Katelyn and found her wrapped in a blanket sound asleep.

Katelyn has enough "girl" in her to enjoy a good pampering! This is how Brad found her on a Saturday afternoon.

Tyler loves to "read" and Madison would NEVER pass up a chance for someone to read to her. They make a good team.

Family Hiking

We went hiking as a family a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful day and the kids really enjoyed getting out. We didn't see any snakes, but I saw a snake skin.

Playing in Snow

It started to snow while we were at church Sunday night. Brad and the kids went out at 8:30 and built a snowman.

March Snow

Just one week after posting a picture of my daffodils ready to bloom, we got 3-4 inches of snow! I was expecting an ice storm sometime this month-that isn't surprising-but actual snow is almost unheard of! The kids LOVED it! BTW- it is supposed to be back in the upper 70's by this weekend. I love SC weather! (for now! I'm sure I'll change my mind in July)

Katelyn

Katelyn is growing so fast. It is neat to see different personality traits coming out in her. She's got my perfectionism and Brad's creativity. She enjoys school (especially math) and can be found doing creative "projects" all the time. That usually means sneaking into the classroom and making a mess!

She's not even in her "terrible two's" yet! I'm not sure how many times she got in trouble last week for climbing on the counters or playing with the water/ice in the fridge door. I had to change her twice one day because she climbed into the kitchen sink and turned the water on. She finally realized where the candy stash was and thought she could help herself.

And then there's Tyler.... I can't help but post some pics of him too. (Plus I promised the Burtt girls I'd update my blog tonight)

-Madison
So many people have responded about how much Katelyn and Madison look alike that I thought I'd post pics of them at about the same age. They're both adorable if you ask me!

First Bloom

For all you Northerners enduring the cold and more snow, I have a row of daffodils that are ready to bloom! Oh, sorry. That was cruel! It was actually only in the 50's today, but the last few weeks it got up to 70 several times. I'm sure we have a March ice storm coming still.

Chocolate fix!

One of the kids left their snack on the table this afternoon. Obviously, the "clean-up crew" got to it before me. Good thing she's so cute!

To blog or not to blog....

So many people have been asking us to start posting pictures and updates about our family that we had to give in. I should mention that I will be in charge of this as opposed to Brad (in his defense, he is ALWAYS busy working on a project or playing with the kids). So, here it goes.... Happy keeping up-to-date with the Shermans!!
